“Free to Be You and Me” may sound like the newest incarnation of the CW’s launch slogan (remember “Free to be…sexy/scary/girlie/super”?), but it’s actually the title of Supernatural‘s third episode from the upcoming fifth season, which premieres this Thursday, Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. Here’s an official episode description from the CW:

ADRIANNE PALICKI GUEST STARS — Not sure he trusts himself anymore, Sam (Jared Padalecki) decides to give up hunting, but a late-night visitor (guest star Adrianne Palicki) won’t let him off the hook that easily.  Dean (Jensen Ackles), intent on stopping the Apocalypse, continues hunting on his own and teams up with Castiel (Misha Collins) to find the Archangel Raphael, as Castiel believes Raphael knows God’s location.  Miller Tobin directed the episode written by Jeremy Carver (#503).

Behind the cut are some new promotional images from the episode, including one of Palicki making her return as Sam’s dead girlfriend Jessica and a first look at Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer, who seems to have made someone named Nick his new place of residence. There’s also some photos of new duo Dean and Castiel, who thankfully hasn’t abandoned his trench coat.
